The first Beached Academy took place

last year, as a way for people to get

an insight into the real world of the

music business. Guided by industry

professionals, 25 people aged from 16

to 50 took part, and several have gone

on to do more in the musical field.

One Academy student, Callum Walker,

has started a career in the music

industry, touring with Faithless as a

cameraman.

This year's Beached Academy ran from

30th July to 3rd August at the

University of Hull @ Scarborough.

The images on the right were taken

on the graduation night of Friday

August 3rd.
